Brad Pitt calls Jennifer Aniston a "really good friend" at the Golden Globes.

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston (opens in new tab) are good friends. At Sunday night's Golden Globe Awards (opens in new tab), Pitt walked the red carpet and was asked about the current state of his relationship with his ex-wife. During the interview, Pitt admitted that his relationship with Aniston has cooled off and described her as a "really good friend."

Although the exes (both now single) did not mingle at the awards ceremony, they did attend the same CAA after-party that evening at the Sunset Tower in Los Angeles.

"They greeted each other right away," a source told E News! (open in new tab) about Pitt and Aniston's interaction. 'Jen arrived after Brad. It was brief, but [they] were very friendly, friendly, and seemed happy to be there...They approached each other when they saw each other inside and looked happy as they hugged and began greeting each other. Jen whispered something to Brad, but it was not an expression of affection. Neither of them seemed to want to make a big deal about being in the same room together, even though it was a private party. They tried to keep a low profile. Brad left quickly and didn't stay long at the party."

"Jen was in a good mood," the source added.

"She seemed very happy to be out and interacting."

Many fans have been secretly shipping the couple again since they became single again (opens in new tab). Aniston and her second husband, Justin Theroux, separated in 2017 after two years of marriage, and Pitt split from his longtime partner Angelina Jolie in 2016 (their divorce was finalized last year in 2019).
