Gwyneth Paltrow is a branding genius. Cookbooks, gift guides, yoni eggs (yes, yoni eggs), and now naked dresses: the goop creator of the 2020 Golden Globe Awards ceremony came out in a sheer, tiered, pleated, tulle gown by Fendi.

Not only does this look highlight one of our favorite trends from head to toe, it feels like a red carpet departure for Paltrow, who often opts for a bodycon, structured silhouette for key appearances. With that in mind, sheer and sexy is not out of Paltrow's repertoire.

The actress Paltrow is known for her enviable physique (which she no doubt achieved through the exercises she posted on Goop) and the fearlessness with which she shows it off. On the red carpet, she often opts for thigh-high slits, sheer silhouettes, and plunging necklines, and her brand new take on fashion risks, especially sexiness, rarely disappoints.

But this Fendi look is more bohemian than what we're used to seeing on the star, who attended the Golden Globes for her role in The Politician, a Netflix series co-produced by her husband Brad Falchuk, in E! This romantic ensemble is refreshing for Paltrow, who admitted to being "semi-retired from acting" in an interview with Ryan Seacrest.
