Gwyneth Paltrow is the new cover girl for Harper's Bazaar (opens in new tab) and spends a good portion of the interview talking about her exes, including ex-husband Chris Martin and current girlfriend Dakota Johnson. Paltrow has many feelings about Johnson, and they are all positive. (She shared a birthday tribute to Johnson on her Instagram.

As she explained, "I love her. I know it seems weird because it's unconventional. But in this case, I've just been doing it over and over again and I love her. I always think of the ampersand sign. 'What else can I bring to the table instead of resisting or making her feel insecure?

She also touched on what her and Martin's relationship is like now, five years after she and Martin first "consciously dissolved their couple."

"'Oh, we consciously dissolved our couple. It's a lifelong commitment to constantly re-establish a relationship with an ex-lover. 'If you don't have kids, there's no reason to do that. Some people do. But I think we put in a lot of hard work the first time around. Now there are few difficulties. We have learned how to communicate with each other. We love each other. We laugh. We do our best for each other. It's really good. It seems like we don't have to lose."

And Paltrow has already had one former student, Brad Pitt, who was a member of the team.

And for those wondering what Paltrow's relationship is with her other ex, Brad Pitt, she opened up about that as well: "Brad Pitt and I are friendly. Brad Pitt and I get along great. The more you know!
