Meghan and Harry's New Website Created by "The Tig" Designer
Amidst the drama of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's sudden (and apparently unannounced (opens in new tab)) announcement that they are stepping down as senior royals, sharp-eyed fans were quick to notice a delightful bit of their new Sussex Royal Family website (opens in new tab) They were quick to notice the nuances. The web designer for this sleek new site is Article (opens in new tab), a Toronto-based firm that also helped create Princess Meghan's blog, The Tig.
As you may remember, Meghan shut down her social media accounts and blog in 2017 after her engagement to Harry, but before that she was active on the site. It's clear she's gone back to her trusted designer, and the sleek site is evidence that she knows what to look for in a streamlined design; as HELLO! noted, Meghan and Harry were apparently working on the site during their six-week vacation away from royal duties.
The site was so popular yesterday that several pages temporarily failed to load (I know this because I kept refreshing them as they failed to load, screaming at the top of my lungs).
This website is an important part of Sussex's new media plan (opens in new tab). So, bookmark this site now, I say.
I love this little personal detail of their new plan!
