Chrissy Teigen is fed up with fans asking if her hamster Peanut Butter is alive. So she released a video on Instagram to prove it. And, being the Chrissy that Chrissy is, she shared a video with the hamster that clearly put the date and time for the little animal to be spoiled with love and treats, as if it were a hostage video.

In the video, she asks her daughter Luna, "Who is this? Peanut Butter!" She squeals adorably. And what's today's date?" Teigen follows up. (Luna is still learning the days of the week.): January 9, Thursday. 'And peanut butter is alive,' Teigen emphasized. John Legend added, "We don't hold up a newspaper, but my phone says so." Peanut Butter snuggled happily with Luna, seemingly completely content and completely ignoring the drama surrounding her.

The Cravings by Chrissy Teigen Instagram account asks, "Does Peanut Butter actually run our Instagram account?" I got in on the fun of this by saying. Yes.

Remember when Teigen lost her hamster in the house (opens in new tab) (twice) shortly after she started keeping it and needed fan input on how to find and care for the little critter? It was very funny at the time, but apparently the fans haven't forgotten and need to see that peanut butter continues to exist. And she really, really dodged their bluff. I love her so much.

Amazing.
