Kate Middleton, $775 aspinal bag with $8 earrings.
Kate Middleton and Prince William are back at work today, just 24 hours after Prince Harry held a summit meeting Monday with his brother, father Prince Charles, and grandmother Queen Elizabeth II at Sandringham about his and Meghan Markle's future. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have just arrived in Bradford, where they will "visit a number of projects that support the community and promote unity within the community in one of Britain's most diverse cities," Kensington Palace wrote ahead of the visit (new Open in new tab).
Kate is wearing a Zara dress, (opens in new tab) an Alexander McQueen coat, Zeen earrings, and (opens in new tab) an Aspinall of London bag. This is her first big formal event of 2020.
Here's her bag:
Her Alexander McQueen coat is unavailable, but here's a similar fitted style to what she's wearing:
Kensington Palace Instagram last week by sharing her new portrait, marked her 38th birthday. Meghan and Harry commented on the post, writing, "Happy birthday to the Duchess of Cambridge! ❤️"
The Queen announced Monday (open in new tab) that she approves of Meghan and Harry stepping down as full-time members of the royal family. In a statement, the Queen said:
Today my family had a very constructive discussion about the future of our grandchildren and their families. Our family fully supports Harry and Megan's desire to build a new life as a young family. While we had hoped that they would remain full-time working members of the Royal Family, we respect and understand their desire to lead a more independent life as a family while remaining a valued member of my family. Harry and Meghan have made it clear that they do not want to be dependent on public funds in their new lives. Therefore, we have agreed to a transition period during which the Sussex's will spend time in Canada and the UK. These are complex issues for my family to resolve and there is still work to be done, but I have requested that a final decision be made in the coming days.
