Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie both release new wines
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (opens in new tab) are not letting their divorce get in the way of their joint venture.
The former couple still together own the French winery Chateau Miraval (opens in new tab), and along with their partner, Marc Perrin, they are releasing a new wine.
The project "has been in development for three or four years. Miraval is committed to the art of making rosé, and this Champagne made in Champagne is a collaboration that combines knowledge of Provence with Champagne-making," said a source who spoke to People (opens in new tab) about the venture.
Pitt and Jolly (open in new tab) released their last wine together through Miraval in 2019, but according to People, a source close to the former couple said they consider the venture "an investment in their children."
According to Wine Spectator magazine (opens in new tab), Perrin gave details about the new wine.
"We are working very hard with Rodolphe Peters (one of Champagne's leading producers)," Perrin said of the new rosé champagne, "to create the only Champagne house that makes only rosé. We are trying to push the quality of rosé as far as possible in Champagne."
