Prince Harry and Queen Elizabeth (opens in new tab) have a special bond.

According to former royal butler Paul Burrell, Harry was "the only person" who could fool Queen Elizabeth.

"I know the queen well, and I know that she is very fond of Harry," Burrell told OK! magazine (opens in new tab). 'William would be having tea with the Queen after school and Harry would come over and put a plastic fly in the sugar bowl! It's so funny. Harry was the only one who could fool Grandma."

According to the Mirror (opens in new tab), Burrell, who last spoke with Queen Elizabeth in 2018, shared another episode about Harry's childhood prank (opens in new tab) making. The former royal butler told the Mirror that Harry's late mother, Princess Diana (opens in new tab), also encouraged Harry's practical jokes, especially Christmas gift shopping.

"She spent hours looking for joke goods to put in his stocking. One year, Harry got a fake dog poo."

Harry immediately began planning to place the fake dog poop in places his grandmother might find it, Burrell said.

According to the head cook at the Althorpe Estate, where Harry stayed with his parents when he was a child (open in the new tab), Harry loved to flush his slippers down the toilet when he visited the estate. This trick, unsurprisingly, caused a great uproar on the Estate.

"When Prince Charles and Princess Diana brought William and Harry to Althorpe, Harry was a bit of a prankster and stuffed his slippers down the toilet," the chef said, according to The Mirror.
