Selena Gomez is about to launch a beauty brand (opens in new tab), so it is no surprise that the first big red carpet event in February 2020 was the Beauty Awards show. (Sorry Academy Awards, but the Hollywood Beauty Awards was first on the calendar.)

Gomez arrived at the awards ceremony dressed for Valentine's Day: she wore a blush, off-the-shoulder patou dress, adorned with a bow. Her hair was styled in an updo, with curtain bangs back (opens in new tab). Makeup was a bold coral lip. She wore Roberto Coin jewelry and Aquazzura heels.

Gomez is launching Rare Beauty (opens in new tab) in the summer, but she was only at the beauty event to support a friend. The singer was pictured with her go-go glam team, makeup artist Hang Vango and hairstylist Marissa Marino.

Marino and Vango shared an Instagram recap of the award and the evening.
