Meghan Markle feels "much less stressed" since living in Canada.

Meghan Markle has kept a surprisingly low profile since stepping down from her royal executive role with Prince Harry.

(opens in new tab) According to People (opens in new tab), the Duchess of Sussex is enjoying the time of calm with Prince Harry and her 9-month-old son Archie, who has been gathering dust since her decision to leave royal life.

"When Meghan returned to Canada [after the announcement], it was just this tremendous change," a source told People." You could tell she wasn't very stressed."

The new family has been on Vancouver Island (open in new tab) since leaving the royal family, hiking with their two dogs, practicing yoga, cooking at home, and enjoying the stunning Canadian scenery. The couple's top priority, however, remains raising their young son Archie.

"Archie is our first priority. Taking care of him and putting the family first is still very important," a source close to the couple continued. 'He's a happy kid who loves to laugh. Archie and Harry have a great time together. And Megan is a wonderful mother. She takes very good care of Harry. They are trying to have a normal parental life together."
