Prince Harry and Meghan Markle return to UK for "final round of official engagement"

[Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have vacated their royal titles (opens in new tab), moved from the United Kingdom to Canada (opens in new tab), and had to earn their own money (opens in new tab): that means they will not be in full force for several months. At the bottom of the Buckingham Palace statement (opens in new tab) about Meghan and Harry's new roles, it says: "This new model will take effect in the spring of 2020."

And what it means for Meghan and Harry: ...... The details are not clear, but we can put a new report in the Sunday Times (opens in new tab) in perspective. According to the paper, the Queen has requested that the Duke and Duchess return to England next month to attend the annual Commonwealth service with the rest of the Royal Family. And since they are still technically active royalty, it appears that they will be going.

The service is March 9 and will be part of Meghan and Harry's "final round of official events before returning to their new base in Canada." The royal couple will also visit England with Archie.

It will also be interesting to see how Prince Harry and Meghan interact with the rest of the family, as this comes after Prince Harry said he "has no regrets" (open in new tab) about leaving the royal family!
