Princess Diana, Princess of Wales, looks like a Disney princess in her wedding video unearthed.
Uncontroversial opinion: Princess Diana (opens in new tab) was truly charming inside and out.
The late Princess Diana was (and is) beloved by royal fans the world over.
On July 29, 1981, Lady Diana Spencer officially joined the royal family when she married Prince Charles (opens in new tab) in an elaborate, traditional wedding ceremony at St. Paul's Cathedral in London.
Naturally, on her big day, Princess Diana was dressed in a traditional white dress with a large train and the quintessential 80s, puffy, bulbous sleeves (opens in new tab). And of course, the tiara.
Instead of borrowing royal jewels for the occasion, Diana wore her own family tiara (opens in new tab), the Spencer tiara, on her wedding day. And that tiara had quite a sparkle to it.
An unearthed video (opens in new tab) of Diana's wedding day has been making the rounds on the royal family's Instagram, and the footage of Diana's beaming face (opens in new tab) (and SPARKLY AF TIARA) walking down the aisle to say "I do" is rare, up-close footage.
She was animated (opens in new tab) as a Disney princess, and then apparently brought to life. Related, new theory: the clip inspired the movie "Enchanted" (opens in new tab).
