The Academy Awards ceremony (opens in new tab) took place last night! Cheesy jokes about the diversity and lack of representation among the nominees (opens in new tab), Billy Eilish making faces at people (opens in new tab), and Tony Hawk (opens in new tab) gave us nostalgia. But guess who missed all of that? Jennifer Lopez. Because when the Academy announced this year's nominees, they didn't recognize her talent and completely nudged her.

Not surprisingly, J.Lo was absent from the awards ceremony. (However, despite J.Lo's absence from the awards ceremony, she did show up at the after-party, which was a lot of fun. Late last night, she posted her look on Instagram, which was a perfect shade of green, like the money that Ramona, her character in the movie "The Hustler," was raking in during the film.

Ugh, imagine the red carpet look if the Oscars got together and nominated her!

J.Lo didn't reveal which party she went to, but from the caption, we're guessing she danced the night away. Regardless, she's already had quite a month this month. She performed at the Super Bowl with Shakira (opens in new tab), hung out with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry (opens in new tab), and won Best Supporting Actress at the Film Independent Spirit Awards (opens in new tab). She doesn't have to go to the Oscars! Although, I would have been really happy if she had gone. ......

Academy, you are officially on my list.
