Lana Condor was seen being followed around at Whole Foods by David Beckham.
First, a request: to all the boys out there, the sequel to P.S. Still Love You is now available on Netflix. Yes, it may be Wednesday morning and your boss usually hates watching movies in the office, but is there really something more appealing for you to do? On this topic, star Lana Condor (open in new tab) recently spoke about how fame has changed her life and one incident regarding a certain soccer player before she made it big.
Appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Condor discussed an awkward fan encounter four days after "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" was released. 'I was working out and I went into the sauna butt naked, like you do after a workout,' she said. "I was sitting there and all of a sudden I heard a squeak and the door popped open and a group of girls came running up to me. They ran in and were like, "Oh my God, you're Lara Jean!" And I was like, 'Oh my God, you're Lara Jean!'"
"I was like, 'Oh! I might not make it,'" she recalled.
Condor, however, related to her following fans around the grocery store. She said, "I did the same thing to David Beckham about six years ago. I followed David Beckham around at Whole Foods in Santa Monica."
She confessed that she followed Beckham "all through the produce," adding, "I finished the register, but I thought I was being very discreet. And Beckham was very aware, she says. He looked at me and was like, "Do you want to take a picture?" I was like, "I'll take a picture."
"I was like, 'I'll take a picture of you.'
"I get it now," Condor concluded."
"Oh, it's not subtle."
