Ashley Graham, multi-tasker who works, coffees, and breastfeeds all at once
Ashley Graham has always given me a deep sense of intimacy that I can appreciate. Since giving birth to her beloved baby boy, Isaac Menelik Giovanni, she has been honest about what it means to be a mother (and a working mother at that). Last night, she shared a candid photo (opens in new tab) - of herself breastfeeding in public and drinking coffee at the same time - and it was no exception at all.
"☕️&? " she captioned it. Her friends and fans immediately rushed to support the new mom. 'YASSSSS,' Demi Lovato wrote. 'Can't wait to meet my nephew,' wrote Lori Harvey. '♥️❤️,' wrote Rosario Dawson. Not surprisingly, of course, given the content, the trolls immediately told her to cover up, said she was doing it "wrong," etc. (I won't quote them directly). As far as I can tell, Graham did the classy thing, i.e., she ignored them.
She also confirmed that yes, she was working at the same time, since she is basically a supermom. Instagram user guacamozo asked, "Hey @ashleygraham When is your line of nursing bras hitting AE?" Graham replied, "Making notes as we speak! He replied, "❤️. Amazing.
Just a few days ago, Graham shared a photo of her postpartum body (open in new tab) and spoke very realistically about what life is like now (couldn't love her more):
Raise your hand if you didn't know you'd be changing your own diapers too? ♀️ After so many years in fashion, I could never have imagined that disposable underwear would become my go-to outfit, but here we are! No one talks about the recovery and healing (yes, including the messy parts) that new moms go through. I wanted to show you all that it's not all rainbows and butterflies!
Yesterday, Graham also released a short video of the two of them nursing in bed, with the caption "my little piggy" (lol). So if new mommy content is exciting to you, great news.

Adorable.
