Before becoming Ryan Gosling's life partner, Eva Mendes won our love and respect in "Hitch," with the cheesy and awkward Will Smith in his place. The romantic comedy stars Smith as "Hitch," a sort of freelance cupid who helps a man create scenarios that allow him to shine in front of the woman he has always loved from afar. On the one hand, though sort of manipulative, Hitch's policy is to help only pure men, and only help them be their true selves, not something they are not.
