Amanda Bynes (open in new tab) is apparently engaged.

The 33-year-old actress has been mostly out of the public eye for several years amid reports that she has struggled with mental health issues and substance abuse. She shared the news on Instagram on Friday (Valentine's Day (open in new tab)) in the form of a ring shot highlighting her massive diamond engagement ring.

"Engaged to tha love of my life," she captioned the shot, which also showed her other hand (presumably her fiance's) wearing what appeared to be a gold wedding ring. As to who the aforementioned "beloved" is, Bynes did not specify (opens in new tab), leaving the identity of her soulmate a mystery.

Although rarely spotted in public, Bynes has been moderately active on Instagram in recent months (opens in new tab). Last week, she shared a mirror selfie that appears to have been taken in her bedroom:

And in December, she shared a selfie with the Bynes family Christmas tree, with a glimpse of two friends or family members in the background:
