Sussex couple paid a low-key visit to Stanford University earlier this week
It's back to school time for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
A source told BAZAAR.com that Prince Harry and Princess Meghan were in San Francisco earlier this week as part of their ongoing work to develop and establish a new charity. They brainstormed and met with Stanford professors and scholars to research ideas and initiatives for future charitable projects.
According to Today.com (opens in new tab), when the royal couple arrived at Stanford, they were greeted by the university's president, Mark Tessier-Lavigne. The two reportedly flew commercially from Canada for this secret meeting.
The pair announced last month that they would be stepping down from their senior membership in the royal family (opening with a new tab), but they remain dedicated to promoting philanthropy in the vein of their original royal duties.
Prince Harry and Princess Meghan have kept a low profile since officially leaving the royal family. Besides spending quiet family time (opens in new tab) with their young son Archie in Canada, the couple traveled to Miami (opens in new tab) last week for a high-profile summit hosted by JPMorgan.
