Kate Middleton Says Prince William Felt "Helpless" During Pregnancy

Kate Middleton (open in new tab) and Prince William (open in new tab) struggle with parenting just like every other mom and dad on the planet. The royal family - they are human beings, too. A novel concept, right?

In a very candid new interview on the Happy Mum, Happy Baby (opens in new tab) podcast, Kate opened up about everything about parenting, including her battle with hyperemesis gravidarum, a type of severe morning sickness, something she dealt with in all three pregnancies ( (Open in new tab).

"I'm not the happiest pregnant person because my morning sickness was so bad. 'I know lots of people who have had much, much worse morning sickness, but it was definitely hard. When you're pregnant and you have a newborn baby, it affects the whole family."

Kate further explained that her husband, like many dads-to-be, suffered from feelings of helplessness when she was pregnant (opens in new tab).

"You know, William didn't think he could help much, and it's hard for everyone to see you suffer when you can't actually do anything. 'I was really sick. I wasn't eating what I should have been eating. But still my body was able to take all the good things from my body and grow new life.
