Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas reportedly expecting first child

Exciting news to start off Wednesday: JustJared and Us Weekly are reporting that Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are expecting their first child together. Multiple sources confirmed Turner's pregnancy to both magazines. One source told Just Jared that they are keeping things quiet. The source said, "The couple is keeping things very private, but their friends and family are super excited for them."

The second explained: "Sophie chooses what clothes to wear for her changing body, both on and off the carpet." Jonas and Turner were last photographed together out in London two weeks ago.

Jonas and Turner have yet to comment publicly on the reports. Their pregnancy comes about a year after Turner and Jonas were legally married (open in new tab) in Las Vegas in May 2019. They had their second official wedding in France later that summer.

Turner told (opens in new tab) Rolling Stone (opens in new tab) in March 2019 that she never expected to get married in her early 20s and then met Jonas. She was 21 when they got engaged after almost a year of dating.

"I was totally prepared to be single for the rest of my life," she told the outlet. 'I guess when you find the right person, you know. I feel like my soul is much older than my age. I feel like I've lived enough of my life to know. I've met enough men, I've met enough women, I don't feel like I'm 22, I feel like I'm 27 or 28."

She told Glamour UK earlier that year about how happy Jonas makes her. She said, "[Much of my happiness now] has to do with being with the man I fell in love with, that he loves me more than I love myself, and that he wants to see me find my own happiness." That was probably the biggest thing that pushed me to find my own identity and to find happiness in something other than acting."
