Remember back in January when Chrissy Teigen and John Legend welcomed their new puppy, Petey, and Luna and Miles were immediately and very understandably smitten? And remember how Teigen tweeted about Petey's father's size, "If he's anything like his father, he'll be the biggest caramel Gumby I've ever seen"? Well, it's a little over a month since Teigen posted the video of Luna trying to hold Petey (opens in new tab), and Petey is already about three times the size of his father. Enjoy:

Teigen shared an enlarged version of this clip on her Instagram story, writing, "Look how big Petey is! Can I still hold him?" to Luna." before asking, "What a big boy!" I commented. Luna's confident reply: "Yes," I asked Luna, to which she confidently replied, "I can hold him! And adorably, she tries to pick the puppy up, but only succeeds in getting her paws off the ground. I highly recommend watching this video all the way through and taking a good look at Petey's big eyes as he stares into the camera, wagging his tiny little tail. That mini wag completed my Tuesday and soothed my soul!
