Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could earn £850,000 per Instagram post after leaving the Royal, experts say

Remember Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's post-royal exit goals (opens in new tab)? Well, that won't be hard to do. At all.

Harry and Meghan (open in new tab) will likely be able to monetize their Instagram account significantly, among countless other revenue opportunities.

According to influencer marketing platform Inzpire.me, the couple's account @SussexRoyal, which has 11.2 million followers, could potentially earn as much as £85,271.19 per sponsored post. This estimate is based on an analysis of the number of followers on the profile and its recent explosive growth.

According to Inzpire COO Marie Mostad (opens in new tab), the @SussexRoyal account has grown rapidly since news broke that Harry and Meghan were planning to step down from their roles as senior members of the royal family, The Sun ( (opens in new tab). The "reason" is that people are excited to watch Harry and Meghan take the next step from active royalty.

To put into perspective how valuable the public's fascination with that transition is, Inzpire notes that the revenue that Prince William and Kate Middleton's account (opens in new tab) @KensingtonRoyal's sponsored posts (opens in new tab) bring in is far less, estimating only £40,744.97 per post.

Of course, the account will no longer be called "@SussexRoyal" once Harry and Meghan officially begin their post-royal lives (opens in new tab) this spring. The move was reportedly pushed by the Queen (opens in new tab).
