The Queen (open in new tab) is looking for new pilots to join the Queen's Helicopter Flight (TQHF).

According to a job posting on the Royal Family website, the TQHF "consists of a small team of pilots and ground support to provide the highest standard of helicopter service to members of the Royal Family attending official events."

Pilots recruited to join the team will serve as co-pilot or command pilot and fly the Sikorsky S76 C++ helicopter.

Needless to say, this position requires "extensive flying experience."

In addition to flying the Royal Family to various events, the person hired for this position is expected to be responsible for "planning and safely conducting flights in accordance with the TQHF Operations Manual" and to "undertake administrative and other administrative tasks in support of the Director of Flight Operations."

Other skills the Queen is looking for in a new pilot (open in new tab) include attention to detail, good time management, and communication and problem-solving skills.

The full-time position boasts a competitive salary and benefits package and is based in Odiham. If you are a helicopter pilot looking for a new challenge, you can apply here (opens in new tab).
