Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will soon move on to a new life (opens in new tab), closing their Buckingham Palace office and continuing to live part-time in North America. Before that, however, the Duke and Duchess are preparing for their final engagement in the UK in late February or early March.
After this, the Duke and Duchess will continue to support the causes they are passionate about (opens in new tab)." The Duke's priorities remain the welfare of servicemen and women, conservation, sports for social development, HIV, and supporting Travalyst (opens in new tab), which works to mobilize the tourism and travel industry for social benefit," a spokesman recently told Town & Country. The Duchess is focused on women's empowerment, gender equality, and education."
Still, the royal engagement scheduled for the coming weeks will be a last hurrah of sorts: for Meghan and Harry, it will be their last public appearance (at least, the last one that has been announced) before the new arrangement goes into effect. The couple's full schedule is as follows.
February 28: Harry participates in a recording session with the Invictus Games choir.
March 5: Harry and Meghan attended the Endeavor Fund Awards.
March 6: Harry attended the official opening of the Silverstone Experience, an immersive museum, with Lewis Hamilton.
March 7: Harry and Meghan attend the Mountbatten Music Festival at the Royal Albert Hall.
March 8: Meghan makes a public appearance on International Women's Day.
March 9: Harry and Meghan attend a Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey with the Queen and other members of the Royal Family.
