Madison Prewett to self-bankrupt in next episode of "The Bachelor"?

Spoilers for this season of "The Bachelor. We're another day closer to the finale (opens in new tab) of "The Bachelor" (opens in new tab). And we've got a new video detailing an old and frustrating storyline: the theme of sex as a source of judgment. Thanks to spoilers like "Reality Steve," we already knew it would come up, but three times: the virginity of Colton Underwood, Cathy Randolph's reluctance to overnights, and the Luke Parker and Hannah Brown debacle (opens in a new tab). In succession, the show is now heading down the path of revolving around these themes. And this time, the show's finale will have a major impact. What do we know?

Okay, let's break it down. In the trailer, we learn for the first time that the three women left on the show are still staying in the same apartment together. Victoria Fuller (open in new tab) notes that this is "awkward". That is true, and it is probably why Prewett learned that Weber was in an intimate relationship with at least one of the other women (the other contestant was Hannah Ann Sluss (opens in new tab)). During dinner with Weber, Prewett says, "If you've slept with another woman, I can't say yes to the engagement."

And Weber replies: "Do you want to give up eternity with each other because of what happened this week in my other romantic relationship?"

And. He adds: "I was intimate. I can't lie to you about that." Full speculation is here, but the theory is that he could have been intimate with both of them (opens in new tab). Prewett walks away and Weber whispers that he is sorry.

Preview here (opens in new tab):

Maybe Prewett will go home before spending the night with Weber, but that would be confusing since we know Fuller also drops out after spending the night... I can't see it being one woman instead of two at the Final Rose Ceremony..." Honestly, my guess is that she will self-drop at or before Final Rose and Weber will kick her out of the program. If that happens...

As reported by Reality Steve, Prewett has been spotted filming in her hometown of Auburn, Alabama. This is a very interesting update, and suggests that not only will the show not end in a "typical" way, but that it will not end at all with The Proposal and The Final Rose.

I think this could mean one of two things: Prewett is shooting footage for The Bachelorette, and the producers are thinking of her as the next lead - if Weber is with Sluss at this moment, Prewett and Sluss are overwhelmingly flattering Given that the film was edited for "The Raven," that's my guess - or the producers went back to Auburn to film Weber coming to Prewett's hometown and pleading with her to get herself back. I strongly suspect the latter, but either way, things are going to get really interesting.
