Kate Middleton sports $38 sneakers

This morning, royal sports enthusiast Kate Middleton joined young athletes participating in field and track events at a SportsAid event at the London Stadium. According to the Twitter account of the Royal Family of Kensington (opens in new tab), the event was dedicated to celebrating the role parents and guardians play in their children's sporting success, much to Kate's liking. The Duchess of Cambridge has just completed a series of events with toddlers linked to the "Five Big Questions About Under-Fives" initiative, and also has a rich history of participating in (and fueling her competitive spirit for) sports activities, sometimes even wearing heels and wedge soles. For today's event, however, she opted for a very practical pair of sneakers. The sneakers (which are vegan and feature Insolia Flex Tech for added comfort) sell for £29.50 (about $38). They also come in black with blue ribbon stripes.

And if you're looking for the Duchess of Cambridge's endorsement:

It seems to be working rather well for her! With that kind of enthusiasm, she's willing to do anything! It's as if to say, "Can you believe this trainer was 29 pounds?"

It's as if she's saying, "I can't believe it!

She's a fan of culottes (she's a fan of culottes (opens in new tab)!), with some pretty classic sneakers, ZARA culottes (opens in new tab)! ) paired with an all-green athleisure look that included A similar pair in a very attractive camel (am I the only one who feels Meghan Markle-ish?

She also wore a very sweet necklace (opens in new tab) with the initials of her children that debuted a few weeks ago. Charlotte, George, and Louis are not here, but we still think of them!

Anyway, look for me at the next frenzied power walk, color-coordinated and clad in culottes!
