People think Hannah Ann Sluss is much more deserving than Peter on "The Bachelor."

The first part of The Bachelor's two-episode finale featured drama, tears, and the sudden departure of Madison Prewett (opens in new tab). Prewett began to have doubts when she learned that Weber was having sex with a fellow contestant and eventually dumped him in Australia, telling him she wasn't comfortable with him. Weber and Hannah Ann Sluss are the de facto winners now that Prewett is gone. Except that Weber didn't tell her that: ...... I don't know why he didn't tell her. [I have to admit, the last half hour of that episode was pretty excruciating. After Prewett left (for very good reason, I might add - she explained that their beliefs and goals were not aligned), Weber spent the rest of the episode with Sluss, who (wrongly) believed she was one of the two women vying for Weber's heart. This was, um, untrue. Slass firmly believed that he was still competing with Prewett for Weber, and laid all the cards on the table, explaining how sure he was of Weber and how ready they were to move on with their lives together. Weber, on the other hand, was like, hmmm, hmmm, and didn't mention the crucial fact that she was the only one left. [She didn't become a fan favorite like Rachel Lindsay or Caitlin Bristowe, but she didn't make any enemies or cause any major drama (except for the champagne gate, which was obviously orchestrated by the producers). But for the first time in this episode, viewers buckled up and realized that Sluss deserved someone better. Not only did she deserve someone who would reciprocate her feelings, she deserved someone who would tell her if she had become the de facto fiancée of the show.
