Kate Middleton recycles her 26th birthday outfit
Kate Middleton (Kate Middleton) loves to re-dress in fashion, and this morning in Ireland, she went all the way back to before her throne by wearing a cream coat from Reiss in 2008. She paired it with black skinny jeans and a polka-dot blouse from Equipment. Yesterday, in honor of her and William's first day in Ireland, she wore green from head to toe during the day and at night (opens in new tab).
Here is Kate wearing this coat for the first time in 2008, before she and William got engaged. They got engaged in October 2010:
Today she wore this coat to Jigsaw, Ireland's national youth mental health center in Dublin. She took off the coat to reveal an Equipment blouse.
William and Kate will tour the country today and tomorrow before returning to England. Prior to their visit, the Palace announced that their trip will "focus on (British-Irish) relations, with themes of remembrance and reconciliation." In addition to Dublin, Kate and William will also visit County Meath, County Kildare, and Galway during their visit.
Kate has so far worn a predominantly green wardrobe as a tribute to the country. She wore an emerald green Catherine Walker coat and a lime green patterned Alessandra Ricci dress. She also wore a padded headband for the occasion.
That evening, Kate changed into her most formal look: a glittering "Vampire's Wife" emerald dress. The Duchess visited the Gravity Bar at the Guinness Storehouse for the reception.
