Kate Middleton Wears Two Bold Green Looks on First Day in Ireland

Kate Middleton and Prince William have begun their Irish royal tour. Arriving at Dublin Airport on Tuesday, the royal couple headed to Áras an Uachtaráin for a meeting with the Irish president and then to the Guinness Storehouse for the evening. During the day, Kate wore a lime green printed dress (sold out) by Alessandra Rich (open in new tab) with an emerald green coat by Catherine Walker (open in new tab) and a sparkling green dress by The Vampire's Wife at night.

At the airport:

The couple enjoyed the afternoon. Their first stop was the Garden of Remembrance, where they laid a wreath.

Their day ended with a reception at the Gravity Bar at the Guinness Storehouse.

Fun fact: Princess Beatrice once wore the same sparkling green gown.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's entire visit lasted three days: from March 3 to March 5. During the trip, the couple will spend time in Dublin, County Meath, County Kildare, and Galway. Prior to their arrival, the Palace announced that "the focus will be on (Anglo-Irish) relations, with themes of remembrance and reconciliation."

This is generally a busy week for the royal family, including Meghan Markle and Prince Harry (both of whom will step down as senior royals at the end of March); on March 5, Meghan and Harry will hold their first joint event at the Endeavor Awards since they announced they would step down from their roles as senior royals ( open in new tab).

On March 7, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will attend the Mountbatten Music Festival, while Kate and William will join the Queen at the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey on March 9 for their first joint event with Meghan and Harry in months.
