Congratulations are in order for Katy Perry, who announced the pregnancy of her first child! She revealed the news in a way befitting a pop star: in the music video for her new single "Never Worn White." In the video's final scene, Perry cupped her bump, visible through her see-through dress.

On Twitter, Perry touched on the struggle of hiding her pregnancy while being very famous, revealing how she chooses to "suck in" her belly or strategically carry her purse. (The photo above, taken in February, shows her holding her purse directly against her belly.) Both methods sound like painfully annoying and painfully satisfying ways to get rid of it!

Perry teased the big reveal by tweeting a short clip from the music video. Both the baby and the new album will be released in the summer, she tweeted (opens in new tab).

Last September, her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, shared (open in new tab) that he and his wife are looking forward to having a child together (Bloom has a 9-year-old son, Flynn, with ex Miranda Kerr). When asked during an appearance on "The Howard Stern Show" if she wanted to have more children, Bloom replied, "That's what I'm shooting for," adding, "It's like this wild Mustang. If I could control this beast and ride in it, I would have the best drive of my life," he added. Well, it looks like that Mustang has been thoroughly tamed!
