Kate Middleton shows off her curtain bangs and shorter-than-usual hair.
Kate Middleton's padded black headband concealed part of the Duchess of Cambridge's major hair change (opens in new tab) on the first day of the Irish Royal Tour, but it was evident on the second day. The fringe, which is more subtle than side-swept or blunt bangs, was very clearly visible this afternoon during a visit to the Teagas Animal and Grassland Research Center in Grange, County Meath.
Kate also shortened the length of her hair by a couple of inches. This is her hair when she visited the Dublin Extern this morning. Not quite a lob, but definitely medium hair; it was longer when it appeared in February:
The Duchess of Cambridge will continue her tour of Ireland with Prince William today and tomorrow, which began yesterday. Prior to the visit, the Palace announced that their trip "will focus on the relationship (between Britain and Ireland) and will have themes of remembrance and reconciliation. In addition to Dublin and County Meath, Kate and William will visit County Kildare and Galway.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Jigsaw, Ireland's national youth mental health center, this morning. Kate brought back her 2008 coat for that engagement. She paired it with skinny jeans and a polka-dot Equipment blouse.
Yesterday, the Duchess wore two green looks: first, when she arrived in Dublin, she paired a Catherine Walker emerald coat with a lime green patterned Alessandra Ricci dress. For the reception at the Gravity Bar in the Guinness Storehouse, Kate wore a glittering deep green dress, The Vampire's Wife.
