Who is Hannah Ann Sluss in Peter Webber's "Bachelor" season?

Bachelor Spoilers In Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor (opens in new tab), there are several women who stand out. One of them is Hannah Sluss, a former pageant star (opens in new tab) who already knows some famous former contestants and has had a fairly successful modeling career (and, more problematically, a history of animal hunting). She made an impression in the pilot version of The Bachelor, and her presence on the show has already ruffled a few feathers. Here is everything we know about her.

Sluss is 23 years old and deeply religious (judging by the references to the Bible in her Instagram profile (opens in new tab) and Twitter retweets (opens in new tab)). She seems to be good friends with another program alum, more on that later (maybe she got some tips on how to navigate the program), so it's like she already knows how the "dating one guy who is dating 29 other women" thing works.

We also know that she is close to her sister:

as well as her other family members.

Sluss was also one of the cast members who, on one occasion, posted a photo of herself with a friend after hunting an animal.

I won't spoil it here (go to the link at the bottom of the page if you want to read all about the events of this season), but as of part 1 of the finale, Sluss is the only one left in the running to win Weber's heart. And Prewett broke up with him and left the show (oops). And now she's back, and she regrets leaving.

Uh oh. According to the footage we saw, Weber seemed "off" on his date with Sluss (poor guy didn't know what happened), and Weber didn't even try to tell Sluss what happened with Prewett or that she was the only one left. To be fair, the latter incident absolutely infuriated the fans (opens in new tab), although it may have been the producer's interference to make the final rose ceremony as dramatic as possible. Thras is starting to gain the sympathy of her fans, but I have a feeling things are going to continue to get tougher for her. She has hinted at a possible heartbreak (below), and no matter what happens between her and Weber, his feelings are still stronger for Prewett.

Harrison also teases a live finale, and since even he says he doesn't know the ending, this could be another strong hint that something spectacular will happen between the final Rose Ceremony and "After the Final Rose." In the trailer above, we also see Peter's mother crying hysterically, indicating that she loved Thrasse. Concern.

So, as you may recall, the contestants are strictly forbidden from engaging with each other/accidentally spoiling the season results on social media and other platforms. There was one particularly interesting theory (opens in new tab) about Suluth's private Venmo account (link may be a spoiler), but otherwise she has been absolutely tight-lipped about what happened during the finale.

She posted a photo on Instagram with an interesting caption: "Roses are red, violets are blue, I'll spend eternity with you." and a photo that reads, "Expect nothing, thank you for everything ✨." The last sentence in particular, while very vague, seems like a bit of a hint as to where her journey is headed. On the other hand, Madison Prewett's account, her main battleground, is very personal and emotional (opens in new tab) (not to mention specific). So it's up to you how you interpret it.

We know that Sluss was not chosen (opens in new tab) to be the Bachelorette, so this could also be a way to keep her fans' interest, and maybe even a very special show she did with BFF Hannah Godwin too, aka Bachelor in -to go to Paradise. We know it worked out well for Godwin. So unless she ends up walking away with an engagement ring, I can totally see it. Spoilers are below this article.

In a recent one-on-one, Sluss told Weber that she had "felt love" before, but had never been in love. Sluss has been in a relationship for years, and in the post below she says she is indeed "in love."

Fans quickly tagged Weber in the comments of that post, pestering Sluss about the language she used on the show and implying she was lying. However, this is definitely not a Jed Wyatt situation (contestant has a significant other and is just actively hiding it on the show). There is no "secret relationship" or anything, as Sluss has not been with or posted about this person since 2017.

Some fans have also noted that when they look back on a relationship, they may have very mixed feelings about the whole thing - they may realize that they didn't love each other as much as they thought they did, or that the relationship left them with residual negative feelings. I don't think it necessarily has to be a "lie" for Thras to say here that he has never been in love - although I can understand that underestimating a serious relationship might seem confusing from the outside.

The two Hannahs. Sluss is friends with Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise contestant Hannah Godwin (open in new tab). According to Chris Harrison, Godwin even recommended Sluss to the producers as a potential future Bach contestant (so it's possible the two had an honest chat about what it's like to be on the high-profile, high-stakes, big-stress show). Their social media has featured photos of each other since 2018, some of which look like official modeling shoots:

but others look like cute pictures of the two girls just fooling around and having a good time:

Sluss hasn't posted about Godwin since April 2019, but she's been busy filming and has to be careful not to divulge anything about her season (besides, she's probably recovering from all the champagne drama.) Godwin recently "liked" a post by Thras and vice versa. on his posts. In a recent post by Slass, Godwin wrote, "Ooooh hunny . ." comment reaffirmed that their friendship is fine.

Sluss replied, "miss you . . ❤️," he replied. For the record, the two are still friends. Plus, Godwin will be planning a super fun wedding (opens in new tab) in between modeling, influencer, and blogger activities.

Sluss is represented by Model Club (opens in new tab) and Campbell Agency (opens in new tab) and is 5'5" or 5'10" tall with blue or green eyes depending on who you ask (according to People (opens in new tab)). (She is under contract with Wilhelmina Models). She appears to be featured online and in print, including ads for Sonic and Downey. She also appears in Chris Lane's "I Don't Know About You" video:

Definitely a Southern girl.

Sluss has competed in the Miss Tennessee competition multiple times. In fact, a video of that time is circulating, and the video was extremely unflattering (she talked about hazing and violence on college campuses, as opposed to answering the questions posed):

Oops.

Sluss is living with the aftereffects of Champagne Gate. Champagne Gate was an exchange between Sluss and Kelsey Weyer in which Sluss "stole" the champagne that Weyer had brought to share with Weyer. Since then, producers have been trying to touch on some of that drama, and Kelsey Weyer and Sluss, who are becoming enemies, are sitting down to work things out. Things quickly get much worse (big surprise, not) as Slass tries to defend herself after what she sees as a champagne "finasco." Sorry, now what? I think she meant "fiasco" (fiasco):

Fans were immediately fascinated by Sluss' choice of words and enjoyed the meme:

And fans commented on Sluss' Instagram post mentioning the new word she made, in case she forgot (I don't think she'll ever forget, guys). In a recent post (opens in new tab), ET's Lauren Zima wrote, "Far . . from. a . finasco ." to which she replied, "only sometimes.❤️", so it seems she has a sense of humor. Weier and Sluss have joked on social media about Champagne Gate, so it's not a big deal.

Frankly, the fact that people are memeing you means that no one is going to forget about you anytime soon. Suras is doing really well. Also, the fact that the show hasn't focused on her drama for a while may be evidence that she's gotten over her craziness and is back on track to winning Weber's heart.

No spoilers for the ending, but we do know that Thrasse will win down to the last few contestants. We also know that Weber's season will be "unusual." But we also know that Sluss is an important part of his "journey" and that we can expect to see a lot of her. All I'm saying is, remember this face.
