Chrissy Teigen opens up about the nightmares that "ruin your life."

One of the things I absolutely love about Chrissy Teigen is how honest she is, even when things are not always sunshine and roses in her world. She has recently been plagued by a terrible nightmare and has proven to be outspoken and vulnerable about trying to work through it.

Teigen took to Twitter and Instagram to introduce the topic, saying, "This may sound insane, but I have like ghosts or evil spirits and I have the worst nightmares. I go to bed super early, get a good night's sleep, wake up soaking wet, and have really bad nightmares. It's always the same nightmare."

She tweeted, "I have been having the same nightmare for months. I wake up and as soon as I go back to sleep, it's right back to the nightmare. Then I officially wake up soaking wet and very sad all day. I'm so tired! I'm going to sleep in another room tonight."

Fans offered options such as burning sage, reading books, using essential oils, downloading calming apps for your phone, and controlling sounds outside your bedroom.

But the "change the room" tactic seems to have worked, and great news: when one fan asked how she was doing, she replied: "I feel so much better. I slept through the night, didn't have any nightmares, and woke up at a reasonable hour. How many months has it been?

Teigen has been honest about her stress in the past: she opened up again to Glamour UK (opens in new tab) about her postpartum depression, saying, "It was a sad existence. There was no elation. It was a flat life for a few months," she said. I didn't know it could creep up so late and that it could happen to someone like me with all the resources. I had a nanny, and my mother lived with me." She has recently become very vulnerable to her fans.

Here are her tweets:

And as someone who sometimes has terrible nightmares, I really relate to this.
