Kate Middleton is a regular London shopper at her local Waterstones bookstore this weekend.
Women can't leave the house to buy books" Kate Middleton went to London this weekend to shop at the British bookstore Waterstones, MailOnline (opens in new tab) reported. A source told the site that the mother of three asked the sales clerk for children's books on history and the military, suggesting that Prince George and Princess Charlotte are interested in the topic.
She was wearing a light blue sweater and overcoat and black loafers. This Kate sighting follows her and Prince William's trip to Ireland, where Kate paid homage to Ireland by wearing green (open in new tab). She also debuted some subtle bangs and a short haircut on the trip (opens in new tab).
Kate has been busy in 2020. Last month, she promoted her "5 Big Questions" survey, encouraging parents to talk to each other about the first few years of parenthood. In an interview on the "Happy Mum, Happy Baby" podcast, Kate spoke with host (opens in new tab) and author Giovanna Fletcher about the importance of getting out and about with your kids.
"I remember it from my childhood - doing simple things, going for walks together, that's really what I try to do with my kids as well, because it completely takes all the complexity and all the pressure off," Kate said. 'It's something I'm really passionate about. 'It's great for my physical and mental health, and it's great for building that foundation.' It's a great environment to actually spend time building quality relationships without the distraction of 'I have to cook' or 'I have to do that. It's actually very simple.
In addition to spending time at Kensington Palace, Kate, William, and their children also have a home at Anmer Hall in Norfolk. William recently revealed that the children learned the useful farm skill of lambing there (opens in new tab). We may soon see Kate picking up a book about farm life. Those kids seem to be multi-talented.
