Harry Supports Meghan in Unassuming Fashion on Commonwealth Day
During their farewell tour of royal life, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have taken every opportunity to assert sartorial sway. And it was no different at Monday's Commonwealth Day service (opens in new tab) - the Duke and Duchess' final event as senior royals.
For the occasion, Markle wore a bright peppermint green Emilia Wickstead (opens in new tab) dress with a matching neck cape and fascinator. And Prince Harry casually coordinated his suit, lined in the same shade of green, just like his coveted prom date. Photographers captured the details of the Duke of Sussex's coat the moment a gust of wind blew it away, exposing the inside of the suit. This is unmistakable proof that he always supports his wife in fashion. (This is not the first time Markle and Harry have made headlines for their matching looks during their return to the UK. At the Mountbatten Music Festival at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday, Markle wore a stunning and bold ruby gown (opens in new tab) that perfectly matched Harry's red military uniform. And at last week's Endeavor Fund Awards, Markle's cerulean dress (opens in new tab) coordinated with her husband's bright blue suit.
Dressing together, as they say, stays together for the couple who quit the royal life and moved to Vancouver.
