Harry Reveals Intimate Life with Meghan in Prank Call

Prince Harry has reportedly fallen victim to a pair of prank phone calls from a well-known Russian hoaxer, revealing his private thoughts on leaving royal life and more.

According to People (opens in new tab), the Duke of Sussex thought he was receiving private phone calls from young environmental activist Greta Thunberg and her father Svante Thunberg, when in fact he was talking to famous Russian hoaxers Vladimir Kuznetsov and I was talking to Alexei Stolyarov. The calls allegedly took place on New Year's Eve and January 22. According to Good Morning America, Kuznetsov and Stolyarov have previously pranked Elton John and presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.

According to a British media transcript, Harry revealed why he decided to step down from the royal family and why there are disadvantages to marrying into the royal family.

"Sometimes the right decision is not always an easy one, but for our family it was the right decision. I think there are a lot of people in the world who can relate to us and respect us for putting our family first. It's tricky, but we're starting a new life," Harry reportedly said in the conversation. Marrying a prince or princess is not what people think it is. There are so many layers to marrying a prince or princess, so many pieces to the puzzle."

The duke went on to assure us that even though leaving the royal family was a difficult decision (opens in new tab), he and Princess Meghan do not seem to regret it.

"No, no, I think it's much better," Harry quipped. 'In case you forgot, I was in the army for 10 years, so I'm more normal than my family wants to believe.'

Besides commenting on the upcoming new chapter, Harry reportedly shared his views on President Donald Trump and his disgraced uncle (opens in new tab) Prince Andrew.

The phone hoax represents yet another violation of the royal family's privacy, and he and Princess Meghan in particular have been vocal about their distrust of the British tabloid media, which they feel has been violated by the press. Just last year, the Duke of Sussex sued the owner of The Sun and the former owner of The Mirror (opens in new tab) for hacking and intercepting private voicemails.

The Sussex couple's representatives have not confirmed whether Harry was indeed speaking in the leaked conversations.
