Ciara and Russell Wilson Donate 1 Million Meals to Seattle Food Bank

I love Ciara: She and her husband Russell Wilson donated one million meals to Food Lifeline, a Seattle food bank, as the coronavirus pandemic has exacerbated hunger and food insecurity for many people.

In an Instagram video (opens in new tab) shared by both, Wilson said, "This global pandemic of coronavirus is changing the world by the second, by the minute. People are losing loved ones. The elderly and the young. And people in between. Think of all the people who have lost their jobs, even in Seattle." The couple made the donation because, they said, "Every little bit helps."

In the clip, Ciara encourages fans to follow suit whenever possible. She says, "Join us in whatever you can, no matter how big or small. Everything makes a difference. Everything we do together makes a difference, and together we can overcome these tough times we are going through." If you are able, you can donate to Food Lifeline (opens in new tab).

"We have faith. We want to encourage everyone there to keep the faith," Ciara said, stressing the importance of social distancing. 'We pray for everyone there. Once again: yet another reason to add this couple to the official stan list.
