As the coronavirus spread, the Queen sent a subtle message of staying strong as she left London.

Queen Elizabeth (opens in new tab) is leading by example and practicing self-quarantine.

The Queen left for Windsor Castle (opens in new tab) on Thursday to begin life at her usual villa a week earlier than originally planned in response to the coronavirus health outbreak (opens in new tab).

But despite the crisis, the queen has shown strength (opens in new tab) and fortitude. On the day of the trip, the Queen's look was mostly somber, a pale blue knit cardigan and a comfortable quilted vest, but her beauty look was anything but.

Elizabeth subtly made a statement about staying strong in the midst of a coronavirus epidemic with a bold lip (opens in new tab), a universal signal of strength and confidence.

It is unclear exactly which shades the Queen wore (opens in new tab) when out and about from London, but we do know some of her favorite brands and shades, and they are currently available for shopping.

The queen loves Elizabeth Arden and is a fan of the brand's Beautyful Color Moisturizing Lipstick line, according to People (opens in new tab).

The queen is also a big fan of Clarins, so much so that she commissioned a custom red shade from Clarins for her coronation in 1953.
