Prince William talks about his "life and death battle" with the coronavirus.

Prince William (opens in new tab) is speaking up for a very vulnerable group of people during the coronavirus (opens in new tab) outbreak: the homeless.

In a conversation with Mick Clark, CEO of The Passage (opens in new tab), a London-based homeless support group (Will is a patron of the group), the Duke of Cambridge speaks candidly about the pandemic (opens in new tab) crisis.

"We are in a life and death battle to help people living on the streets in this public health emergency," Will told Hello! (opens in new tab) magazine (opens in new tab), according to the magazine.

Clark further elaborated on his meeting with Will.

"We had 20 minutes of conservation time and he recognized that it was a public health emergency for people on the streets and in shelters," Clark said.

"So it was good to be able to let him know that not only the voluntary sector, but everyone in local and central government is doing everything they can to try to get people off the streets and into safety."

It is always great to see the royal family use its platform for good (opens in new tab), but it is truer than ever.
