2020 is going to be a lot of things (to say the least), but it's a great year for new films. (Opens in new tab) Sure, you may be figuring out how to put some social distance (Opens in new tab) and adjust to your new, isolated reality, but once you're done watching Netflix's "To All The Boys" sequel (Opens in new tab), consult this list, Get ready for the best teen movies of 2020. From the teen-centric "X-Men" spinoff to the highly anticipated "Mulan" reboot to the "Secret Garden" remake starring Colin Firth (sign up now!), there's plenty to get excited about.

In the wake of the coronavirus crisis, this year's lineup of new releases are being released directly to streaming services rather than in theaters (full list here (opens in a new tab)).

2020's Fault in Our Stars. A teen romance about two young people, Violet and Theadore, who are trying to deal with their emotional scars.

Release date: Originally scheduled for April 3, 2020, but postponed indefinitely in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

Starring Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton, Henry Zaga, Blue Hunt, and Alice Braga

Now, while this film looks a bit scarier than what we are used to from the X-Men Universe, we can't help but think of it as the "The Game of Thrones" and "Stranger Things," we love the inspiration. Besides, Marvel + mutants (though not the X-Men themselves) sounds pretty interesting.

Starring Maeve Dermody, Amir Wilson, Sonia Goswami, Gemma Powell, Colin Firth

Hard to imagine a "Secret Garden" that is not the 1993 Maggie Smith version, though, If Colin Firth is in it, so are we. The film is going to be bright, playful, and imaginative.

And this is Derry Girls (Derry Girls but Scottish). But it looks like a lot of fun. We live for the nostalgia of the 90s and the energy of the city at night.

"Artemis Fowl" The book of the film has been out for so long that I've forgotten the synopsis (don't tell anyone), but this trailer looks killer. Can't wait to see Dame Judi Dench as Commander Root.

Yes, this is another one of the " Ghostbusters," and while it won't beat the Melissa McCarthy-Kate McKinnon-Kristen Wiig version, this one looks pretty interesting.

This trailer looks a bit corny, but is it safe to say that it still looks like a lot of fun? Emily Blunt gives a great performance in every movie she's in.
