Even I, a very sentimental person, would struggle a bit if my girlfriend read a love poem to me in front of 15,000 viewers on Instagram Live. So, kudos to Miley Cyrus for hosting boyfriend Cody Simpson (open in new tab) on her show "Bright Minded" and pulling off a very intense live reading of a poem dedicated to her.

Simpson will soon release a collection of poems titled Prince Neptune, and gave Cyrus and viewers a little preview. She is "a humble, starry-eyed poet who seeks out the most beautiful things . And she is the most beautiful," Simpson read, and Cyrus, sweetly flustered, "Babe!" I interrupted.

Judging by the embarrassed smile on Cyrus' face throughout, Simpson's poem was well received. When he finished singing, she asked, "Am I the most beautiful?" His answer was: "You're the most beautiful, baby." Oh, you two.

On an ancient night she flies once more to her starry home. I try to follow her, but I am frustrated. Because I cannot breathe in the shining heights of heaven where she stays. I can only watch her from below, a humble, starry-eyed poet with a desire for the most beautiful things. And she is the most beautiful. All the others [...] are sleeping in the winter woods. She swims in the sun and never burns out.
