Someone redirected Harry and Meghan's "Archewell" site to Kanye's "Gold Digger."

In today's internet trolling news, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's new foundation, Archewell, has been targeted by online pranksters. (Opens in new tab) According to Page Six (Opens in new tab), knowing of their planswww.archewellfoundation.com(新しいタブで開きます)と入力した元シニア王室のファンは、ジェイミー・フォックスをフィーチャーしたカニエ・ウェストの2005年のヒット曲「Gold Digger" was redirected to a YouTube video. This link is currently disabled.

The mishap apparently occurred because the couple had not registered their domain name in advance, and some troll grabbed it and decided it was funny. Naturally, the comments section of the video (opens in new tab) was full of people wondering how they got there.

The two got the name of their foundation (and their son Archie's name!) from the Greek word "Arche" The two told the Telegraph (opens in new tab) last week (opens in new tab) about how the foundation came about and when they plan to start:

Before SussexRoyal came up with the idea of "Arche"... .Archewell is a name that combines an ancient word meaning strength and action with another word that alludes to the deep resources each of us must draw upon. We look forward to launching Archewell at the right time.

Other options they discussed were "Arche Foundation" and "Archeway," but I have to agree that "Archewell" has no better ring to it.

The two did not intend to release this information immediately (open in new tab) due to current world conditions, but when they applied for a public domain name in the US, currently sequestered in Los Angeles, the press had to ask. So, in a sense (not to point fingers), the prank would not have happened had the couple not rushed to announce their latest project. If there is a silver lining from this whole ordeal, it is that they now have one less thing to worry about announcing.
