Created street art of Prince Harry in LA

Graffiti fills the urban landscape of sunny Los Angeles, swarming highway walls, apartment buildings, billboards, and sometimes even the famous Hollywood sign (opens in new tab). In a way, the street art portrait of Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex (opens in new tab) is like a baptism for Prince Harry, who recently moved from England to Canada and to Los Angeles, home of his wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. The Duke's recently destroyed account depicts him in a blue hoodie with the words "Keep Calm and Wash Hands."

Street artist Teachr1 (opens in new tab) uploaded the portrait about a week ago and wrote on Instagram (opens in new tab):" Great to see such a cool couple living in LA! They seem to be fitting in nicely." "Harry is walking the pup in his old Megsit hoodie that still comes in handy. In the photo, pedestrians wearing face masks can be seen walking nonchalantly past a portrait taped to what appears to be a phone company box amidst a coronavirus pandemic. Beneath the graffitied royal family, two dogs painted blue and orange stand guard. Judging by the road sign in the background, the work appears to be on Beachwood Drive.

"Keep Calm and Wash Hands" is an updated version of "Keep Calm and Carry On," a British saying that first appeared to boost national morale in preparation for World War II.

Of course, the act of graffiti is not exclusive to some cities. Earlier this year, street artist Pegasus created street art depicting Harry as a "rebel without a crown" (opens in new tab), a reference to the poster for the James Dean film "Rebel Without a Cause."
