In a comment on an Instagram selfie posted by bodybuilder Janice Garay, an Instagram user wrote, "Are you Jenny from tha block?" Garay replied, "No, I'm Jay from H."

Can you blame anyone for mistaking the Houston-based bodybuilder for her Grammy-winning lookalike, Jennifer Lopez: ...... The two share very similar features, from their facial structures and blonde highlighted hair to their penchant for big hoop earrings and ability to rock a nude lip.

In 2017, Garay went viral when one of her selfies was posted on Instagram's Explorer page and users pointed out that her famous doppelganger was none other than J.Lo. She told ABC30 (opens in new tab) at the time, "It's just a normal selfie I took in the bathroom, but everyone assumed I was Jennifer Lopez and asked, 'Are you J-Lo? No, I'm Jay from Houston!"

The comparison is at least flattering. She added that the Hustlers star is someone she has admired for a long time. 'She's my idol,' she said. 'She's someone I've looked up to since I was a little girl. I'm flattered.'

That same year, Garay added to the excitement by posting a meme featuring herself, J.Lo, and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. The meme read, "If The Rock and J.Lo had a daughter, she'd look like this." In the caption, she wrote, "I want everyone to notice me for my dedication (and hard work) to bodybuilding, not for everyone to claim I "want to be JLO." Those who know me know that I have admired and respected Jennifer Lopez ever since the movie "Serena" was released.
