As you know, Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift share a very cute friendship. Case in point: E! reports (opens in new tab) that Gomez recently called Beats 1 to share her "At Home With Selena Gomez" playlist and explain to Zane Lowe why Swift's single "Lover" appeared.

"It's another song that shows her ability to go back to the old while merging it with her willingness to try new things with her music," Gomez said.

In a Wall Street Journal interview published in January (opens in new tab), Gomez explained why her friendship with Swift, which began when each was dating Jonas Brother, has lasted so many years." We both went through terrible things at the same time," she said of their early friendship.

"She taught me a lot about how I should be treated at a young age."

"She came through for me in ways I never expected. She came running to me when I was hurting and going through something. that was happening to my family," Gomez continued. 'Every year, every moment of my life, she has proven to be one of the best friends in the world. We don't agree on everything, but we respect each other in everything."
