What Happened at the "Too Hot to Handle" Reunion
When you finished watching Netflix's Too Hot to Handle (opens in new tab), you might have thought you'd never see another 10 singles (aside from Instagram stalking (opens in new tab)). But luckily, Netflix reunited the cast for a special episode that aired Friday.
Yes, the world's "hottest" singles came together again via video chat, moderated by the show's narrator Desiree Burch, to tell all. And it was an interesting one. Harry Joshi, Francesca Farago (open in new tab), Bryce Hirschberg, Chloe Veitch, David Birtwistle, Kelz Dyck, Lydia Kleima, Nicole O'Brien, Rhonda Paul, and Sharon Townsend (all in the last episode. (who all got $7,500).
So, to save you an hour spent mastering the TikTok dance or dying your hair at home (opens in new tab), we watched the reunion special for you.
Here is what we learned.
In a video chat, Harry proposed to Francesca with a blue ring pop: "Harry knows I want to marry him. (Frankly, he and Francesca were the THTH couple that wasn't going to work out!
The couple confirmed (opens in new tab) that they are still together today, despite an eight-month breakup, and are discussing wedding rings. It's normal to talk about such things when you've been together less than a year and live in different countries. Couples on "The Bachelor" do it all the time!
Bryce and Nicole previously revealed to OprahMag.com (opens in new tab) what happened between them after the show ended. Apparently, the two began to bond when the entire cast gathered at a hotel in Mexico after filming. Since last April, the two have been in a long-distance relationship, traveling back and forth between Los Angeles and London to see each other.
"He wasn't my cup of tea at first," she said. But as I got to know him better and better, we developed a proper bond and connection."
What does Nicole think of Bryce's houseboat?
What looked like the strongest couple in a Mexican villa never actually made it through the show; in an interview with Women's Health (opens in a new tab), Rhonda confirmed the sad news, "We are the best of friends. We are the best of friends. We still talk about helping each other, talking to each other, things like that."
Perhaps the silver lining is that they are still friends.
As expected, the reunion show was full of memorable moments. And also as expected, Twitter captured the best moments perfectly. However, some in the tweeting fandom thought the special show was a bit odd:
Some thought the show was a little too funny.
