UNIQLO launches Billy Eilish x Takashi Murakami UT Collection
UNIQLO has unveiled a limited edition UT (UNIQLO T-shirt) collaboration between Grammy Award-winning musician Billie Eilish and contemporary artist Takashi Murakami. This year's winner of Best New Artist, Best Album, Best Record, Best Song, and Best Pop Vocal Album (Casual Category), global pop sensation Billie Eilish is also known for her signature style. Takashi Murakami is a world-renowned artist, widely known for his collaborations with luxury and streetwear fashion brands and musicians. This is not the first collaborative project for Eilish and Murakami, however: the artist is also the artist behind Eilish's 2019 music video "You Should See Me in a Crown" (which has been viewed over 68 million times on Youtube.) The [Billie Eilish x Takashi Murakami UT Collection will be available on Uniqlo.com (opens in new tab) on May 25. The collection is priced from $9.90 to $14.90 and will be available in men's, women's, and kids' sizes. [The collection reflects Eilish's love of streetwear and is a big part of her signature look; the T-shirts feature a graphic combination of Haruki Murakami's iconic flower and Eilish's symbolic "Blohsh." The design also includes a collage of Eilish's photographs, sketches from her music videos, and the UT original Billie Eilish logo.The goal of the Billie Eilish X Takashi Murakami UT Collection is to bring the two's unique styles fuse them together while showcasing their artistic perspectives.
