Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, the child of Angelina Jolie and ex-husband Brad Pitt, turns 14 today, and Entertainment Tonight (opens in new tab) has obtained some valuable information about Pitt and Shiloh's relationship from a source. He is very proud of this teen... And they are good friends again. (Pitt's relationship with his oldest son Maddox is more strained (opens in new tab). Maddox even told a paparazzo on the street that "whatever happens, happens" when asked if his relationship with Pitt was over for good)

"Shiloh is close with both parents," an ET source said. 'All the kids are looking forward to Shiloh's birthday and plan to celebrate with a birthday cake.' Brad is very proud of Shiloh and what she has grown into. He loves that she has always been true to herself and so good to her brothers and sisters."

"Brad's children - Maddox (18), Pax (16), Zahara (15), Shilo, and twins Vivian and Knox (11) - are the most important to him," the source continued. 'He tells friends that he learns a lot about life from his children. He and Angie have become very close since the custody rules were set. They have come so far."

The Jolie-Pitt children have been sequestered at Angelina Jolie's in Los Angeles. A source told E! (open in new tab) in March what their life is like: "They keep up with their schoolwork, practice their language skills, play instruments and board games, and help make dinner." The source added that, in a way, "they are used to doing their schoolwork at home, so they are not adapting very well."
