Chrissy Teigen responds to criticism for releasing a video of her coronavirus test.

For those who have been waiting for a coronavirus test and are not quite sure what it does, Chrissy Teigen gave a complete demonstration in her latest Twitter video. In the video, Teigen is swabbed in each nostril and giggles throughout. 'Not bad at all,' she says. It tickles." It makes sense that Teigen chose to demonstrate the ease of the examination: in March, she blasted Donald Trump for complaining about nasal swabs (open in new tab), tweeting, "When I had Luna, my vagina was ripped to the butt hole. Fuck your swabbing pain." [Teigen, however, faced criticism on two fronts for sharing the video. One Twitter user embarrassed Teigen by saying that her video could discourage "50,000 people" from taking the test. 'I just said it was easy and laughed the whole time. What are you talking about?

Others pointed out the disparity in the availability of coronavirus testing throughout the United States, noting that wealth and privilege make it easier for many people to get tested. In response, Teigen wrote that in Los Angeles, all residents can now be tested for free (opens in new tab). (opens in new tab) "In LA, everyone can get tested for free. I had to because I am having surgery. Sorry if I offended you. (The Twitter user to whom she replied later apologized for her comment, noting that residents in other areas have difficulty getting tested. She said, "My apologies, we are still struggling to get tested in DC and I said/tweeted that without taking it out of context. That is my fault. I hope the surgery goes well."])

Teigen took to Instagram to reveal the surgery she is waiting for: breast augmentation. 'I've had them for years, but I'm at my limit. I just want to be able to zipper up a dress my size and lay on my stomach! No big deal!" She wrote. 'So don't worry about me! I'll be fine. I still have boobs. Boobs are fat to begin with. Dumb, miraculous bags of fat."
