If you are a member of the royal family, having a personal social media presence is highly discouraged, to say the least. Remember Meghan Markle's personal Instagram (opens in new tab) and her lifestyle blog, The Tig (opens in new tab), which lamented the closure of her personal Instagram (opens in new tab) and her lifestyle blog, The Tig (opens in new tab).

While it is to be expected that pre-marital royals have a history on social media, some of the younger generation of royals have stepped into the social media wilderness themselves, albeit not necessarily in their own names.

According to Page Six (opens in new tab), Prince Harry (opens in new tab) himself once upon a time had a secret Facebook account, citing a report in the Mirror, and according to the site, Harry's account is a very normal, not at all obviously fake name: " Spike Wells" and boasted more than 400 friends "including some of Britain's wealthiest and most glamorous socialites."

The account was said to have been active from 2008 to 2012 and listed "Spike's" hobbies as "all sports" and his birthplace as Maun, Botswana (known as Harry's favorite place (open in new tab)). There were also photos of Harry with his then-girlfriend, Chelsea Davy, and others.

Look for BRB and Spike Wells Finstad on Instagram (opens in new tab) to see if they are there.
